Fede Valverde played the full 90 minutes against Celta, and he discussed our team's victory with Realmadrid TV: "It was important to win it. It was a really good first half from us, then we dropped off a bit and we can't afford to let that happen. It's happened time and again in LaLiga and in the Champions League. We allow the opposition to feel comfortable for long spells. Celta are a great side, I think they did a very good job and they made life really tough for us."
A game of two halves
"We were very good with the ball in the first half and showed a great attitude in our defensive duties. That was lacking a bit in the second half and we have to improve."

"I think it's our biggest game of the year. It's our last chance to try and win the league, to stay in the fight. It's a huge game and all of Madrid wants to win it, so we'll try and give it our very best to take the three points."
