Mbappé has been named August's Mahou Cinco Estrellas Player of the Month. The striker received this award in recognition of his fine performances for Real Madrid last month, in which he scored three goals in the three LaLiga matchdays.
After receiving the award at Real Madrid City, the Frenchman said: "Thank you very much to all the fans who voted for me to receive this award. It's good to start the year like this, with three wins, goals and the joy of playing every day".
"I'm eager to help the team and have the opportunity to compete for every possible title with Real Madrid. Let's keep it up, because we have a busy September with lots of matches and I hope we can continue winning."
