21st anniversary of club's 7th Spanish Super Cup

On 27 August 2003, Real Madrid claimed their seventh Spanish Super Cup. On this occasion, the madridistas, who were competing as league champions, took on Mallorca over two legs.

The first leg was played on 24 August at Son Moix, where the Copa del Rey winners prevailed by the narrowest of margins (2-1). Three days later, Real Madrid turned the tie around at the Santiago Bernabéu and secured the trophy with a thumping 3-0 win in front of their home fans.
