Real Madrid Castilla drew against Yeclano on Primera Federación Group II matchday 8. Both goals came very early. Youssef put our team ahead in the 3rd minute, only for the visitors to equalise in the 23rd minute. Raúl's team looked for a winner until the end, but the match ended in a 1-1 draw.
Our reserve team got off to the best possible start, taking the lead with one of their first chances in the area. Loren Zúñiga put in a cross from the right flank, Youssef controlled first time and his shot made it 1-0. Shortly after, Loren Zúñiga could have extended the lead, but his shot went over the bar. Yeclano's response was not long in coming and they equalised in the 23rd minute from a free-kick which Naranjo finished off.
Few chances
The game was played at a high tempo, but neither team had clear chances to break the deadlock. It was not until the hour mark that Castilla had a chance with a header from Lorenzo that went narrowly wide. With the return of Manuel Ángel, who made his first appearance of the season, the reserve team looked for more depth. However, the 1-1 scoreline held out until the final whistle.
