Real Madrid C. F. confirms that Merle Frohms will play for our club for the next three seasons, starting 1 July 2025, until 30 June 2028.

Frohms arrives at the club from Wolfsburg, where she won 2 Champions Leagues, 4 Bundesliga titles and 7 German Cups.

Merle was a full Germany international from 2018 to 2024, finishing as runner-up at Euro 2022. After clinching a bronze medal at the Paris Olympic Games, she opted to bring an end to her international career. At youth level for her country, she also won 1 U20 World Cup and 1 U17 European Championship.

Merle Frohms has spent her entire professional career to date in Germany. She started out at Wolfsburg, where she remained up until 2018. She then played two seasons for Freiburg, and another two at Eintracht Frankfurt, prior to returning to Wolfsburg in 2022.
