Defeat in the first leg of the Copa de la Reina semi-finals. The match started badly with Paralluelo's goal after just two minutes and got even more complicated in the 18th minute when Pajor made it 2-0, taking advantage of a rebound off the crossbar after a great save by Misa. The minutes passed in the heavy rain falling on Madrid and, on the half-hour mark, Pajor scored again in a move in which luck eluded the Whites. The Polish player shot after a cross hit Lakra, and Misa stopped the shot, but the ball picked up speed as it hit the turf and ended up in the home team's net.

Toril's team reacted instantly. They could have reduced the deficit before the break with a shot from Bruun that Cata Coll saved in the 31st minute, with another shot from the striker that Irene Paredes cleared off the line six minutes later and with a long-range shot from Antonio S. in the 38th minute that the visiting goalkeeper saved again. Just as it looked like the home side were about to score, Paralluelo made it 4-0 to bag a brace in the 42nd minute.

After the break, Real Madrid continued to look for a way to reduce the deficit. Athenea tried in the 61st minute in a somewhat angled one-on-one with Cata Coll, who managed to clear for a corner. And in the 78th minute, Pajor sealed her hat-trick to close the game at 5-0. The return leg will be played in Barcelona on Wednesday 12 March (7:00pm CET).
