Madrid sign off a perfect second half
After the break, Toril gave Silvia her debut in an official match, and Madrid were rewarded for their efforts in the 50th minute. Yasmim put in a precise cross for Feller, who headed home to make it 0-1. Our team wanted more, but it was the post that came to the Eibar rescue in two practically consecutive shots by Alba Redondo (58th and 60th minutes). Linda C. extended the lead after some magic down the left flank. The Colombian, after getting to the edge of the box, took shape and unleashed an unstoppable right-footed shot to make it 0-2 in the 79th minute.
Madrid were dominating the game and looking to add to their lead. With just a few minutes to go, Weir was on target, but her goal was ruled out for offside. However, as a result of the team's insistence, Bruun scored in stoppage time after beating the opposing goalkeeper in a one-on-one. Real Madrid have now added a 21st league victory.
