Vini Jr. has been named Mahou Cinco Estrellas Player for the month of October. The forward was presented with the award that rewards his impressive performances in the team's five games during the month, seeing him score five goals including a hat-trick against Borussia Dortmund in another memorable Champions League comeback. After picking up the trophy at Real Madrid City, the Brazilian expressed his thanks: "I'm really happy with how madridismo shows its affections for me and this prize makes me incredibly proud.  We're working hard to win the important games coming up."
