Rodrygo makes his 250th Real Madrid appearance: “I want to continue achieving things in these colours”

2 week(s)

Rodrygo made his 250th appearance for Real Madrid at El Sadar on Saturday. The Brazilian posed with a commemorative jersey at Real Madrid City, where he discussed his feelings on reaching the milestone: "It means a lot to me. Every day I'm here is a dream come true for me, so it's emotional to reach this figure. I want to keep going for many more. It's a special number and I want to continue achieving things in these colours."

“I came here with the goal of winning everything, clinching trophies, but I never imagined I'd win so much so soon. I never thought I'd have 2 Champions League titles, I'm delighted."

His season
“I'm happy with the goals I've scored this season. I want to keep scoring, I'm feeling better all the time and I'm in some great form. The team looks good as well, we're growing and improving every day. We've got some big things coming up, tough games, but we're feeling good, focused and we're going to go after them."

Sixth campaign
Rodrygo
hits the 250-game mark in his sixth season with our team, where he's already won 13 trophies: 2 Champions Leagues, 2 Club World Cups, 2 European Super Cups, LaLiga titles, 1 Copa del Rey and 3 Spanish Super Cups.

Since making his debut on 25 September 2019, he has played a key role in Real Madrid's recent successes. He has 67 goals to his name so far, including one in the Intercontinental Cup final against Pachuca. The moment that will live longest in the memory for the fans though, is his brace in the semi-finals against Manchester City on the way to La Decimocuarta.

His 250 madridista games have come in the following competitions: 163 in LaLiga, 59 in the Champions League, 14 in the Copa del Rey, 9 in the Spanish Super Cup, 3 in the Club World Cup, and 2 in the European Super Cup.
