Rodrygo: “It's been a historic year”

1 day(s)

Following the victory at the Santiago Bernabéu against Sevilla, Rodrygo, who scored the 3-0 win, spoke on Realmadrid TV: "We're very happy. We did what we had to do, winning and in style. We played very well and we have ended the year in a good manner".
"It was only a matter of time. We know each other better now and we are getting better every day. We've got a very good relationship off the pitch and we needed to bring this good relationship to the pitch. We notice that we're getting better every day. We now need to keep going like this, scoring goals, providing assists and helping the team".
Another goal to his tally
"I'm very happy to be on the scoresheet again and to have provided an assist. I always try to help the team however I can and to score goals and assists is even better".
Personal situation
"I'm feeling very good, full of confidence. I've spent the last two months a little bit upset because of the injuries. I couldn't play, I wasn't physically fit and now I feel better every day. I'm getting better every game. This holiday break is good for us to rest a bit and come back stronger next year. I want to carry on like this, scoring and helping my team".
Evaluation of the year and message to the Madridistas
"It has been a memorable year. Winning five trophies seems easy, but it's very difficult. We made history and we're very happy. We must now try to do it all over again next year. Madridistas, thank you for all the support throughout this year. We've had an amazing time every game, at the Bernabéu and away. You're always here with us, supporting us. May next year be even better".
