Luka Modrić continues to surpass himself. In the victory against Rayo Vallecano at the Santiago Bernabéu (2-1), he became the player with the ninth most appearances in Real Madrid‘s history, equalling Camacho (577). The Croatian, who reaches this figure in his 13th season at the club, has scored 43 goals and achieved a record of 383 wins, 100 draws and 94 defeats.
Modrić made his debut on 29 August 2012 against Barcelona in the Spanish Super Cup. Since then, he has made 385 La Liga appearances, 131 Champions League appearances, 32 in the Copa del Rey, 9 in the Club World Cup, 14 in the Spanish Super Cup and 6 in the European Super Cup. He is also the player with the most trophies in our club’s history with 28: 6 European Cups, 6 Club World Cups, 5 European Super Cups, 4 La Liga, 2 Copa del Rey’s and 5 Spanish Super Cups. On an individual level, the Croatian won the Ballon d'Or, The Best and the UEFA Best Player award in 2018.
