Mbappé receives LaLiga Player of the Month trophy for January

Before the Real Madrid vs. Atlético match at the Santiago Bernabéu, Mbappé received the trophy for January’s best player in the EA Sports League following a fan vote. The striker scored five goals in the three league matches he played last month.
In the 1-2 win against Valencia at Mestalla, he put in a great performance despite not scoring a goal. A few days later, he scored a brace in the 4-1 win over UD Las Palmas at the Santiago Bernabéu. Finally, his first hat-trick as a Real Madrid player was decisive in beating Valladolid away from home (0-3).
