Toni Kroos has been honoured with the Seven Stars of Sport Award from the Community of Madrid, presented by the regional government to highlight the work of the most successful athletes and the organisations that have contributed most to promoting sport in the region each year. The German, who retired from football at the end of the 2023/24 season, has been recognised in the category of Best Male Athlete of 2023.
