Ronaldo made his Real Madrid debut 22 years ago. The Brazilian's legacy at our club began on 6 October 2002. He played his first match in the Madrid jersey at the Santiago Bernabéu against Alavés and it remains etched in the memory of all the fans. It took him just one minute on the playing field to net the first of his 104 goals as a madridista. The forward scored again later in that match to cap a perfect debut.
Ronaldo played for Real Madrid until the beginning of 2007 and was instrumental in winning 1 Intercontinental Cup, in which he was voted man of the match, 2 LaLiga titles and 1 Spanish Super Cup. He was also the top scorer in LaLiga 2003/04. During his career he also won 2 Ballon d'Or and 2 World Cups, awards that make him one of the greatest forwards in history.
