Real Madrid Castilla drew with Osasuna Promesas in their Primera Federación matchday 22 fixture at the Alfredo Di Stéfano stadium. López de Lerma's side took the lead at the end of the first half with a stunning goal from Palacios (45+3'), the academy product's ninth in the league. However, Arroyo equalised for the visitors in the early minutes of the second half (52'). Castilla pushed for the winner, but the Navarrese side defended well and the score remained unchanged.

Madrid tried to set the pace from the start. Loren Zúñiga had the first chance with a shot inside the area that was saved by the opposing goalkeeper. Manuel Ángel tried his luck from the edge of the area, but the ball went slightly wide. In the 40th minute, the opposition were reduced to ten men. Referee Eugenia Gil Soriano sent off Serrano for a poor challenge on Yáñez.

Castilla took advantage of their numerical superiority. After a great team move in the opposition's half, Cestero passed the ball inside the area to Palacios, who fired in a spectacular right-footed shot that left Fernández with no chance to make it 1-0 (min. 45+3).

The second half started frantically. Arroyo took advantage of a defensive error to equalise (52'). Towards the end of the match, D. Jiménez took a good free kick that was saved. Despite Real Madrid's intensity in search of a second goal, the score remained level. López de Lerma's side are already thinking about their first match in February against Pontevedra, which will be played away from home on 8 February (12:00 noon).
