Real Madrid's Spanish Super Cup begins, as they look to Jeddah (Saudi Arabia) for their first trophy of the season. The competition takes place in a final four format and this evening our team heads into a derby against Atlético in search of their fifth consecutive final (8 pm Spanish time, 10 pm local time). If Xabi Alonso's side win, they will face Barcelona, who beat Athletic Club in the other semi-final, on Sunday.

The Madridistas participate as runners-up in last season's La Liga and Copa del Rey. If we are to win our 14th Spanish Super Cup, it will be crucial to continue the team's good momentum after four victories (Alavés, Talavera, Sevilla and Betis), in which they have scored 12 goals.
