Real Madrid won the Spanish Super Cup for the fourth time on 16 December 1993. Our team ran out 3-1 winners in the first leg, which was played at the Santiago Bernabéu stadium. A brace from Alfonso and a goal from Zamorano reversed Stoichkov's opening goal.
In the second leg, played at the Camp Nou, the madridistas drew a game in which they took the lead midway through the first half thanks to Zamorano's goal.
Bakero scored late in the second half to make it 1-1. That team was coached by Benito Floro and reached this Super Cup after having won the Copa del Rey the previous season.
