Brahim played a starring role in Morocco's win over Gabon in the African Cup of Nations qualifiers. The Madrid striker started the game and scored a brace to break the deadlock and put his side on the road to a win at the Stade de Franceville.
The home side took the lead early on through Bouanga. Harkass made it 1-1 for the Moroccans in the 17th minute, only for Brahim to seal the comeback with two goals in the 20th and 23rd minutes. The Madrid man took advantage of a rebound in the box after a corner to score the first. The second followed an identical pattern. A corner kick was flicked on by a team-mate for the striker to pop up, surprising the defence and slotting the ball home. Brahim was taken off in the 63rd minute. Shortly before the end, En-Nesyri and Saibari rounded off the scoring.
