Leipzig cruised to victory away to Bochum before visiting Real Madrid in the second leg of their Champions League last-16 tie. Wittek gave the home side an early lead, but Dani Olmo equalised on the half-hour mark. Goals from Openda, Poulsen and another own goal in the second half completed the comeback to make it 4-1. Following this result, Leipzig remain fifth in the Bundesliga with a record of 13 wins, four draws and seven defeats.
