Vini Jr. started and played the entirety of Brazil's match against Venezuela at the Monumental Stadium in Maturin. Raphinha gave the visitors the lead just minutes before half-time, but Segovia made it 1-1 at the start of the second half. Vini Jr. was one of his side's standout performers and earned himself a penalty, only for the home side's keeper to save the spot-kick. With this point, the Canarinha now have 17 points from 11 games played in the 2026 World Cup qualifiers. Brazil go on to face Valverde's Uruguay in Salvador de Bahia on Wednesday.
