Real Madrid begin preparations for the derby

Following Tuesday's win over Alavés, Carlo Ancelotti's boys were back in training today at Real Madrid City as they begin preparing for the LaLiga matchday eight derby clash with Atlético at the Civitas Metropolitano (Sunday, 9:00 pm CEST).
The session kicked off with a workout in the gym. The players then moved out onto the pitches to work on possession, control, playing the ball out and pressing. The team finished off with a series of games on reduced-size pitches. Camavinga completed part of the session with the group, while Brahim, Alaba, Ceballos and Mbappé all continued with their recovery programs.
Our player Eder Militão has successfully undergone surgery today on a ruptured anterior cruciate ligament in his right knee. The operation was performed by Dr. Manuel Leyes, under the supervision of the Real Madrid Medical Services.
Militão will start his recovery process in the next few days.
